In January we successfully realized another air dome / dome structure project with anchorage dimensions 71.88x48x15 m. The client has chosen the cost-effective solution to cover 1 large football pitch and 3 individual small football pitches, which are separated with dividing nets. The air hall is equipped with efficient energy saving ventilation units with 1000 kW of heating power capacity, which enable connection to hot-water supply and hot-water heating technology. During construction of this air dome special anchorage method was used, to avoid concrete foundation works – air dome is anchored to the ground with drilled ground anchors, which contributed to fast execution of foundation works and high load bearing capacity and flexibility of the structure.
Air dome / sports dome was constructed and handed over to the client in just 2 days – that is the reason why air domes are placed in the category of structures which can be built in shortest time.
