Spring has passed and we are looking forward to our next summer projects in the Middle East, but first, we must report on our brand new DBS ECO air dome in Mikkeli, Finland. Located in the beautiful woodland suburbs near the city, this new DBS air dome was ordered to be constructed by the city Municipality. Our newest air-supported structure offers a great opportunity for young local soccer club players to train and develop their skills.
During design, production and installation of this air dome, which covers a full-sized football pitch, DBS developed and included different high technology components and systems, which make Mikkeli’s air dome one of the most high-tech air domes in the world. 16 live stream cameras, tracking system for players and ball movement, advanced building automation system are one of only a few features, which make Mikkeli air dome superior compared to others on the market today. Among all, with specifically designed DBS ECO membrane system and custom designed and produced DBS HVAC system, our newest air dome is able to operate with extremely low power consumption during summer season. Adding to the low power consumption is our custom LE-DBS lighting system, which can be used in a variety of efficient lighting modes during night time.
DBS Engineering once again proved that its air domes can be installed in any environment or climate. Our air domes are made to withstand extremely high temperatures as well as colder environments, as it is evident in our new Mikkeli air dome, thus providing users a safe and pleasant environment for sports activities.
Why DBS ECO? Because ECO matters.
